Saying the 2024 Eisner Award winners

The 2024 Will Eisner Comedian Trade Awards have been introduced at San Diego Comedian-Con Worldwide on Friday, July 26 on the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Lodge. Hosted by Phil LaMarr and Thomas Lennon, the ceremony awarded trophies to winners throughout 32 classes. The final theme of the night time gave the impression to be “paying it ahead,” and a number of presenters and winners used stage time to go with their friends and replicate on group.

Lore Olympus gained greatest webcomic for the third consecutive 12 months, making creator Rachel Smythe the primary individual to obtain three back-to-back wins within the class. Penguin Random Home gained three trophies and made a clear sweep of the classes celebrating books for non-adult readers. Scott Dunbier accepted his ninth profession win, not together with his 2023 Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award.

See the whole record of winners under (bolded).

Be aware: This publish will likely be up to date LIVE throughout Friday’s Eisner Awards ceremony. Observe The Beat editor-in-chief Heidi MacDonald on Twitter/X for real-time bulletins.
