NEW YORK CITY: Signature Theatre has named Beth Whitaker their interim inventive director. Whitaker has served as the corporate’s affiliate inventive director since 2006.
“Beth is a useful member of the the Signature household, with deep institutional data and unerring artistic instincts,” Signature’s board of trustees president Douglas E. Chittenden stated in an announcement. “We couldn’t be in higher fingers headed right into a stellar 2024-25 season.”
Whitaker has been with Signature since 1999 and can also be a professor on the Juilliard College. She’s going to take over whereas Signature searches for a successor to former inventive director Paige Evans. Evans stepped down in June after main the corporate since 2016.
