Norse is a newly introduced viking-age RPG from Norwegian developer Arctic Hazard, and it is coming to PS5. All we have to go on proper now’s the above reveal trailer, and whereas we do not get a lot gameplay, it is clear that it is a pretty bold undertaking.
The title boasts turn-based, tactical fight, settlement constructing, and a plot penned by Giles Kristian — a bestselling author who’s authored a listing of historic tales. All of it sounds fairly good on paper.
“Embark on an epic quest for vengeance as Gunnar, a younger warrior whose future is cast in blood and betrayal. After the treacherous Steinarr Far-Spear murders his father, Jarl Gripr, and decimates his folks, Gunnar’s path is obvious: rebuild, ally, and rise to reclaim honour and justice,” reads the sport’s official description.
It continues: “Craft your individual settlement from the bottom up, collect allies from far and extensive, and prepare a formidable warband to face by your facet. Each choice you make shapes the world round you, as you navigate a panorama teeming with each hazard and alternative.”
There isn’t any launch window hooked up to this one simply but, however we’ll little doubt be listening to extra of it within the coming months. It must be value keeping track of in case you’re a fan of historic settings or strategic gameplay. Or vikings on the whole.
