What did I feel?
★★★★★
Having seen this present again in 2016 and loving it, I used to be excited to listen to it was coming again to London and I went to see it with excessive hopes and worry that it could not stay as much as the recollections I had of it. I needn’t have anxious because it felt much more related at the moment in 2024 than it did earlier than.
Denise Gough was born to play this function of a lady on verge of a breakdown, excessive on medication and nervously getting into a rehabilitation clinic to attempt to take care of her demons. The play is a troublesome watch and never for the faint hearted however it’s so price it. It’s clearly a Nationwide Theatre manufacturing – completely created in each attainable method.
I encourage of you to go and see this present earlier than it closes on 10 August 2024. It’s a outstanding play and has stayed with me for eight years and I’m positive will proceed to for a lot of extra to return.
