The Broadway revival of The Who’s Tommy is coming to an in depth. The ultimate present of the Broadway run will happen on Sunday, July 21, at New York’s Nederlander Theatre. A nationwide tour is within the works, starting in Windfall, Rhode Island, within the autumn of 2025.
The Who’s Tommy first ran on Broadway between 1993 and 1995, and the present returned in March. It was nominated for Finest Revival of a Musical at the 2024 Tony Awards.
In accordance with The New York Instances, ticket gross sales for The Who’s Tommy have slowed since its spring launch. Producers put up $15.7 million for the revival, and the cash has not been recouped, in line with The Instances.
